Early Life and Education

Kourtney Mary Kardashian was born on April 18, 1979, in Los Angeles, California. She is the eldest child of attorney Robert Kardashian and Kris Jenner. After her parents' divorce in 1991, her mother married Olympic decathlon champion Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn Jenner), expanding Kourtney's family to include step-siblings and half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Kourtney attended Marymount High School, a Roman Catholic all-girls school in Los Angeles. She then studied at Southern Methodist University in Dallas for two years before transferring to the University of Arizona, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts with a minor in Spanish. ​
